Ancestra India

  • Tuls, also known as Holy Basil, is one of the most important plants in Ayurveda. It is said to have one of the purest energies as it creates openness of heart and mind, bestowing the energy of love and devotion.

    In the skin it deeply helps to rejuvenate, rehydrate and is rich in Vitamin C, which helps to bring clarity and vitality to the skin tissue.

  • In India, Hibiscus flowers are offered to the gods during the famous "pujas" or ceremonial rites, as they are considered to raise energy similar to lotus flowers or roses.

    Hibiscus oil works wonderfully on hair and skin. It contains large amounts of flavonoids that improve circulation, which helps to treat the signs of aging very effectively. It naturally contains large amounts of Vitamin E, which protects cells from oxidation and helps keep skin soft and supple.

  • The origin of this wonderful plant is the feet of the Himalayas. Jati, as it is known in Sanskrit exerts a cooling and calming action on the mind. Jasmine flowers are said to increase love and compassion.

  • The Cempasúchil flower is native to Mexico, its name comes from the Nahuatl "Cempohualxochitl" which means "twenty flowers" or "several flowers". The ancient Mexicans compared the yellow color of the cempasúchil flower with the sun, so they used it in the offerings dedicated in honor of their dead. Tradition has it that the cempasúchil flowers indicate the main path in order to guide the souls to the altars. It is a flower considered by the Mexica as a symbol of life and death.

    In traditional herbalism, marigold is used to alleviate digestive and respiratory problems, and as an ally in skin care because it is a flower with powerful antioxidant compounds (such as carotenoids and polyphenols), anti-inflammatory and antibacterial, which helps the skin to recover its shine, elasticity and softness. For this reason this Mexican plant is known worldwide as Frangipani, very coveted in high perfumery.

    In the skin, Guiechachi is characterized by its emollient and highly moisturizing properties.

  • For the Maya communities, the ceiba or ya'ax'che is a sacred tree that they consider "the tree of life". It is thought that it supports the sky with its branches, weaves the underworld with its roots, and that the trunk maintains the earthly plane, which allows us to communicate with other levels.

The plant is scientifically known as rosa aff. rubginosa , and the oil is obtained from the seeds found inside the fruit.

    It is said that polyunsaturated oils are extracted from the seed, which have regenerative power in the tissues.
