Casa Ancestras cultivates ancient wisdom and remedies from Madre Tierra. Rooted in her wisdom and gifts, we unearth your natural radiance through non-toxic, restorative facial experiences. It’s about reconnecting to the earth, to your ancestors, to yourself. Our rituals and recipes are handmade by founder and Organic Skincare Formulator, Abril Sandoval, who in her own wellness journey discovered potent pathways between Madre Tierra Mexico, India, Patagonia and France.

Abril Sandoval—Facialist, Ayurvedic Therapist & Organic Skincare Formulator
Along her journey, between seemingly cultural opposites, Abril Sandoval evokes wisdom from Mexico, Chile, India and France. From her roots in the potent communities of Zapotec, Oaxaca, Mexico to the harsh extremes of Patagonia, Chile, to the heart of Southern India, and ancient towns of France—Abril intuitively followed the path laid in front of her both spiritually and practically.
Grounded in Ayurvedic therapy and dermatology certifications achieved in India and Chile, Abril is also a licensed Organic Skincare Formulator from Formula Botanica: Organic Cosmetic Formulation School London, UK. Mixing all our own in-house recipes and formulas, Abril combines these global modalities with the study of herbology and plant medicine learned in Texcoco—a fertile and rich landscape renowned for its ancient lake bed inhabited by the once Poet King Nezahualcóyotl. Unified by a sense of place, Abril’s practice is located in ancient Tenochtitlan, known today as Mexico City.
Her secret is combining the magic of energetic touch and different techniques as a certified Kobido and Sculptural FaceLift massage therapist, with the herbs chosen from her repertoire of global plants, for a sublime personalized experience based on your inner ayurvedic element—earth, fire, and wind. As Abril continues the search for ancestral knowledge and tools that return us to who we are, she devotes her everyday to helping us, her friends and clients, feel beautiful.
